This was a disaster of a speech. He's definitely trying to spin this loss into a "positive." Bringing out the anti-science, Reagan name-dropping, anti-teleprompter schtick.
It should also be noted that having deep convictions is a bad thing when those convictions are about taking rights away from huge swaths of society. I DO trust that Rick Santorum would do these things, which is why I would never vote for him. Apparently, that goes for a lot of other people as well.
