So, we should not be celebrating the spirit of volunteerism, but we SHOULD celebrate money hoarders? Where in the Bible is that exactly? This is a whole new level of idiocy.
Of course, we should be teaching our young people that volunteering and community service are a good things (assuming it isn't a sentence from a judge after a crime of course). Think of where this world would be if we looked down on those who give their time to help others in need. Helping others is the Christian thing to do because when we are in need, many of us could use a helping hand. Treat others as you would have them treat you.
It's also ironic that this preacher mentions being judged on the content of one's character on a show that judges people on...other things.
This man has no place in ANY clergy. He sounds more like someone who has been bought by the Koch Brothers than anything else.
