As President Barack Obama spoke in Phoenix Tuesday about responsible home ownership, hundreds of people stood outside protesting his policies, many shouting and carrying racially charged chants and signs.
"Bye Bye Black Sheep," the protestors shouted at one point, a reference to the president's skin color, according to the Arizona Republic.
Another protestor carried a sign that said "Impeach the Half-White Muslim!"
“He’s 47 percent Negro,” one protestor shouted.
“We have gone back so many years,” Judy Burris told the Republic. “He’s divided all the races. I hate him for that.”
While I'm sure not everyone that is against President Obama has a racial animus, there is definitely a demonstrable contingent of conservatives who are racially motivated against him. There have been people wearing shirts saying "It's called the White house for a reason" and numerous images abound comparing him to an ape/chimpanzee, not to mention many racially coded statements that have been made about him.
Also, I would like to know how exactly Barack Obama has single-handedly divided ALL races.
